Opening for an Environmental Economist
Pomona College expects to make a full-time tenure-track appointment to begin in
academic year 2008-09. We are interested in entry-level applicants who
specialize in Environmental Economics. While appointed in the Economics
Department, the new hire will also be an important contributor to the college’s
Environmental Analysis program. This individual is expected to have completed
or be near completion of the Ph.D. degree. The teaching load is four
semester-courses per year.
Pomona College, the founding member of the Claremont Colleges, is an
independent, coeducational liberal arts college in Southern California with an
enrollment of 1500 students. We have thirteen economists, and another
twenty-five within the other Claremont Colleges.

Opening for an Econometrician/Macroeconomist
Pomona
College expects to make a full-time tenure-track appointment at the assistant
professor level to begin in academic year 2008-09. We are interested in
applicants who specialize in Econometrics and Macroeconomics. This
individual is expected to have completed or be near completion of the Ph.D.
degree. Classes are small and the teaching load is two courses per semester.
